Соглашение о процентной ставке между двумя сторонами, стремящимися защитить себя: одна от падения ставки в будущем, другая от ее роста. Стороны устанавливают обоюдную процентную ставку, действующую с определенной даты в будущем и в течение определенного периода. При наступлении срока исполнения соглашения стороны выплачивают или по-лучают лишь разницу между процентной ставкой, установленной ранее, и ее текущим уровнем.
